Community Night happens Saturday evenings from 4-8pm. It is a full evening serving a group of 125 – 150 mainly street-involved people. Community Night includes a hot meal, food bank, women’s & men’s clothing bank and a worship service.
Essential to this ministry are regular partnerships with many local churches and some companies who stand with us, enabling us to be generous week after week. They come and physically help with the evening, bringing the meal or food/clothing donations.
Our parish nurse, having served overseas and as an ER nurse in Toronto, is well qualified to help people with health issues, counseling them on medical matters, and intervening in certain emergencies.
In our worship service, we have modern music and a message that speaks to people’s questions, bringing hope in God and a warm experience in the community of God.
Community Night has become a springboard into people’s lives – giving them spiritual care and helping them live practically. Contact Andrew Hubbard for more information.
